This Silly Symphony cartoon short was inspired by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "The Song of Hiawatha", and it was the last Silly Symphony released by United Artists. Some of the animators on this beautiful film were Ollie Johnston, Frank Thomas, and Fred Moore. The short was directed by David Hand and released on 5/15/37. Here are two outstanding pieces.. First we have an outstanding hand-inked, hand-painted. Production cel of Little Hiawatha! The cel is affixed to a gorgeous hand-painted 12" x 10" custom presentation background.
