Vintage 1970's Pete's Dragon Disney Production Animation Cell. The cell measures 9 1/2" high x 13" wide, the framed piece measures 16 3/4" high x 20 3/4" wide. This is an original painting actually used in Walt Disney Productions. For each movement in the action of a character in a Walt Disney Production's animated film, a cell painting must be made. These cell paintings are then photographed in succession over master backgrounds producing on the motion picture film numerous pictures, each with it's change of movement. Then when projected on the screen it's rapid succession create the illusion of motion. Condition is very, very good. No rips, tears, stains or repairs. Enlarge photos to see details.
