Pluto & Ronnie Production Animation Drawing The Purloined Pup (1946) Disney
In the 1940s a Baby St. Bernard named Ronnie made his way into two Pluto theatrical shorts. This great 5-peghole animation drawing of Pluto and Ronnie from Charles Nichols' short occurs where Butch has captured Ronnie and it's Pluto to the rescue. In graphite with one tiny red highlight. A screenshot and comparison of the relevant frame from the short is included for reference.
On an untrimmed sheet of 5-peghole animation paper, noted as "26" to mark this original's place in the scene. FINE+ condition, with light age-related wear and toning (see photos).
