Original 1984 Production Cel and Drawing of Minnie Mouse

For those of us old enough---sorry, didn't mean "old", meant " experienced, seasoned, mature and wise enough" --- to remember cartoons prior to computer generation and AI, these original cartoon Cels are a blast from the past that bring back fond memories. This is a quite rare combination of both the original, one-of-a-kind Animation Pencil Drawing and the corresponding Hand Painted Production Cel of Minnie Mouse by Disney artists. This 1984 Animation Cel and Artist Drawing are actual originals used for Minnie Mouse in the animated TV commercial for Fanta soft drinks.

The Pencil Drawing and Production Animation Cel are both accompanied by Certificates of Authenticity. The original, one-of-a-kind pencil drawing by the Disney animator in advance preparation of the Production Cel. This is a Cel actually used in the production of the Minnie Mouse cartoon.

The Cel is one-of-a-kind and was hand painted by the Disney animator. Original Production Cels are the most prized by collectors because they are the artwork that was actually used to make Disney's animated cartoons.

It took hundreds, and often thousands, of individual hand painted sequential Production Cels, which were required to flip in sequence, to produce the movement of Disney characters in cartoons or movies. The fate of old Disney animated production Cels varied widely. Most Cels were destroyed or discarded after the film or cartoon was completed, as they were seen merely as a means to make movies. The Drawing and Cel are matted and framed for preservation and presentation.

Frame is 20 ½"wide and 16" high. Both Certificates of Authenticity are carried in large envelope on the back of frame.
