Guaranteed-Authentic, original, unframed, production cel that was hand-painted and used in Hayao Miyazaki / Studio Ghibli's 1988 film, y Neighbor Totoro (Tonari no Totoro)! Re-released by Disney in 2006.

Please note: This is a one-of-a-kind item that was used during production of the film. This is NOT A REPRODUCTION!!!!! The cel, which is hand-painted from the back, is stuck to the paper (used as separators) as you see pictured. It is not impossible to remove the paper, but our suggestion is to leave it as is.

No line drawings or backgrounds are included, unless otherwise noted. While we have a number of similar cels from the same scene and sequence in the movie, they are not identical -- each cel is uniquely hand-painted and all photos shown are from the actual cel. Please note: there are blemishes from the scanner used to create images here the cels are a lot cleaner than they appear! O line drawings or background drawings are included unless otherwise noted. We do NOT use or supply any non-original (often called "non-matching") backgrounds or other materials.
