Original Production Animation Cel Drawing. From 1935 "Mickey's Fire Brigade". MATTED AND READY TO FRAME, with a Charles Scott Gallery Certificate of Authenticity! A great drawing of MICKEY MOUSE! These early ones are quite rare. It is from Walt Disney's Mickey's Fire Brigade from 1935. It was directed by Ben Sharpsteen. Legendary animators who worked on this short included Grim Natwick, Eric Larson, Wolfgang (Woolie) Reitherman, Jack Kinney and Bill Tyla. The sheet is 5-peghole animation paper and is toned warm yellow with age. It's from around the 5:34 mark (depending on the version) - we grabbed a screen cap from the section (see above). It may or may not be the final clean-up (his hat does not have the number on it). It has a few smudges and a tiny tear in the bottom edge about 2 in from the right edge.
