DISNEY'S "LADY AND THE TRAMP", 1955. HAND PAINTED AND INKED 16 FLD KEY MATCHING CELS OF LADY AND TRAMP, PLACED ON A 17.375x12" (WITH A 15x10.25" IMAGE AREA) PRODUCTION BACKGROUND FROM THE FILM.

THE CELS HAVE BEEN SLIGHTLY TRIMMED DOWN TO ABOUT 13.125X11.5. TRAMP IS ALMOST 4" TALL, AND LADY 3". MATTED WITH RICH, TEXTURED GRAY-BLUE AND DARK GRAY 20x16" MATS, WITH A 13.625x9.75" MAT OPENING, AND FRAMED IN A HEAVY CUSTOM GLOSS BLACK FINISHED WOODEN FRAME, READY TO BE HUNG IN YOUR HOME (SEE PHOTOS). PLEASE EXCUSE THE GLARE FROM THE FLASH IN SEVERAL OF THE PICTURES-- IT WAS NECESSARY TO "PUNCH" THROUGH THE GLASS AND CELS TO REVEAL MORE OF THE DETAILS.

THE SECOND AND THIRD PHOTOS, TAKEN OUTSIDE THE FRAME AND GLASS, OF THE CELS ON THE BG, MAY SHOW A FEW MORE DETAILS. This is the "Date Night" scene of the film when Lady and Tramp head out to explore the city and end up at Tony's Restaurant for their "BELLA NOTTE". It was difficult to take photos through the thick glass, so please refer to the first photo, taken outside the frame and glass, for the truer colors. I designed this setup with the 13-1/8" wide cels slid over to the far Left of the 13-5/8" wide mat opening, leaving the right edge of the cels about 1/2 away from the far right edge of the opening-- but it reveals more of the BG that way.

The setup could be matted differently, with nearly all 15" of the BG showing, but that would leave about 2" uncovered, and both edges of the cels showing. Refer to the second and third pictures to sell all 15 of the image area of the BG. This Original, Hand-Painted Production Cel/BG Setup has been stored in our Light-Controlled/Temperature Controlled Gallery for the last several decades, and. Is still in Pristine MINT condition, with Bright, Lustrous, UNfaded colors.
