3 Gummi Bears Production cels on the key master production background (cels key to background only and not each other) from the eighth week of Season 1 and 12th episode, The Fence Sitter. In this episode a bush prattle bird is eating all the Gummiberries right off the bush, and the Gummi Bears must find a way to stop it before they run out of berries for their magic juice! The setup consists of an overlay cel containing trees and bushes, a cel of the bird diving at the berries, and a production cel of Grammi about to hop off to lure the bird away, all placed on the matching production background (scene 183, 10:58). This background was also used for a scene from about 20 seconds earlier (scene 173, 10:38) when Zummi hands off the berries to Gruffi.

The scene numbers can be seen in the top right of the background. Also included are the matching production used copy layout drawings from these scenes that were hand colored in crayon or pencil. Most artwork from the Gummi Bears were destroyed by Disney and very few pieces survived. Cel setups like this with an original background and matching layout drawings are near impossible to find. Cel of the bird has minor paint separation on the tongue and feet that is barely visible when lined up with the cel of Grammy behind it.

Also there is minor line fading on both cels, which is typical of nearly all surviving pieces from the Gummi Bears. It has become acceptable industry practice to retrace faded lines on cels, although this cel is unrestored. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Animation Art & Merchandise\Animation Art".
