Disney Sleeping Beauty Production Cel Art Corner L@@k

This cel is the essence of the feature Sleeping Beauty. This is one of those "perfect cels" that you rarely see at all let alone for sale. Aurora is in her Briar Rose phase dancing with her "friends" in the forest. Her friends are helping to make the dream of dancing with a Prince come true. Of course none of them knew at that moment in time that it would come true, and then some! The set-up is in excellent condition, frame, glass, lines, paint and warping of the cel surface all considered. Pictures are provided including one on an angle attempting to show the inevitable warpage of the cel. The warp is very uniform around the entire image. Couldn't be much better given the age of the cel.

Given its content, this Production Cel is very reasonably priced. Overall measurements: 16" wide x 13" high. Opening in mat: 9" wide x 6" high. Briar Rose and friends are 7" x 6" tall collectively, a very large immage. The cel deserves a high end frame and it got one.

The molding was picked for it's "Briar Patch" feel. It is double matted and glazed with Museum Glass. This isn't one of those "new frames" that needs replacement the day it arrives.
