"Mickey's 40th Birthday" took a nostalgic look back at the iconic cartoon character we all love. This is an original hand-painted production cel of Mickey Mouse with a straw hat and cane from this episode. This is something of a reprise of the 1942 short Mickey's Birthday Party, where he wore a similar outfit. In this sequence, Mickey does a little soft-shoe routine; in the show, his 1928 version dances along with him.
