This matching set of hand-inked Cheshire Cat cel, layout drawing, and original background painting was created at The Walt Disney Studios and photographed for the "'Twas Brillig" educational filmstrip produced by The Walt Disney Educational Media Company for distribution to schools. Handwritten notes (outside the image area) at top and bottom of the cel sheet make clear that the Cheshire Cat is to appear "upside down" in the scene. Studio Designation "Brillig' 7A" is written at lower right on the cel sheet; "FR 7A BG 7A" is written and "'Twas Brillig" stamped on the background at lower right.
