DISNEY'S GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE ANIMATION PRODUCTION CELS, OF BASIL, DAWSON AND OLIVIA RIDING THE DOG, FROM THE 1986 DISNEY FEATURE FILM, ON A COLOR COPY OF THE PRODUCTION BACKGROUND OF BASIL'S STUDY. THE HAND-PAINTED CEL ITSELF HAS ITS DISNEY SEAL OF AUTHENTICITY IN THE LOWER LEFT, BENEATH THE DOG'S NOSE (SEE THE LAST PHOTO). NOTE: THE GLARE YOU SEE IN THE PHOTOS IS DUE TO THE LIGHTS HITTING THE MULTIPLE LAYERS OF GLASS AND CELS.

WHEN HANGING IN YOUR HOME, YOU SHOULDN'T SEE IT. THE CEL HAS BEEN DOUBLE MATTED WITH A 9.5"x11.5" MAT OPENING AND PLACED IN A CUSTOM 16"x20" WOODEN FRAME, WHICH IS READY TO HANG ON YOUR WALL.

The scene from the film shows Basil, Dawson, and Olivia, riding the dog to the rescue-- and presented on a Color Copy Background, made from an Original Production Background of Basil's apartment that was used in the film. The slight tear you see on the Background, just below the dog's paw, was actually in the original production background, and was reproduced in the color copy used here.
