Alice in Wonderland Disney production cel Art Corner Mock Turtle 1950s New frame

Alice in Wonderland & Mock Turtle original production cels. From the 1950s, Disneyland Art Corner Set-up.

Cels are over 65 years old. Cel size is 12 x 10 inches.

Use in the making of a cartoons. Piece is a 2-cel set-up with each character appearing on their own cel. Alice is about 6 x 3.5 inches and the Mock Turtle is about 4 x 2.5 inches. All hand painted with hand painted ink lines.

The paint is in very good condition. A dramatic use of the special Disney paint colors. Just a wonderful example of the artwork. As you can see in the pics, the paint is in very good condition. Cels are from a Disney created Jell-O commercial.

Alice is very much on-model, while she was voiced by Katheryn Beaumont. Mock Turtle was designed for, and set to appear in the 1951 movie but he was cut out. The commercial can be seen on Youtube. We have added a couple of screen-captures of each cel as it appeared in the 30 second commercial. BONUS: Specially created, EXCLUSIVE , background of the The Madd Tea Party.
