ORIGINAL PAIR OF HUEY AND DEWEY IN COSTUMES PRODUCTION CELS. This is just a great original piece.
This pair are from one of the first collection of original Disney cels I ever acquired. They have hung in my playroom for about the last decade. From the research I have done, original cels of Huey and Dewey do not come around very often.
In this listing you get 2 cels. The first one is an outstanding example of the 2 of them dressed as Firemen with helmets and their names on their shirts. Overall excellent condition with just some very faint craquelere in the white.In front of a printed background, this one has the original Disney label verso. Original frame is complimentary and ready to hang. This frame measures 10 1/2 x 13 1/2 inches.
The other cel is them dressed up as Indians. The duck on the right is in excellent condition. The one on the left shows some obvious issues as the paint has run and it shows some craquelere. The cel sheet also shows a lot of rippling. This cel is in front of an elaborate printed background.It also has the label verso. Same matching frame on this one measures 10 1/2 x 13 1/2 inches as well. Really a great pair of original Disney cels priced to sell. Do your research on these.
