This handsome hand-painted animation cel of Duchess was created in the Disneyink-and-paint department and photographed during the making of the animatedfeature. It appears in an evening scene in which Duchess and Thomas O'Malleyare seated side-by-side on the rooftop of O'Malley's Paris pad after the"Ev'rybody Want to Be a Cat" musical number. He invites her and thekittens to stay with him, but Duchess explains that they must return hometomorrow because of Madame. I could never leave her.
