AN ORIGINAL HAND PAINTED PRODUCTION CEL OF "THE PEARLY BAND" FROM DISNEY'S MARY POPPINS LIVE ACTION AND ANIMATED SHOWSTOPPING "SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS" SEQUENCE. IT IS A RARE HAND-PAINTED PRODUCTION CEL OF ALL FIVE MEMBERS OF THE PEARLY BAND AS THEY BACK UP MARY POPPINS. THEY ARE ALL FULL-FIGURED (4"-5") IMAGES COMPLETE WITH THEIR INSTRUMENTS. WARD KIMBALL IS SAID TO HAVE DONE A LOT OF THE ANIMATION ON THE PEARLY BAND SEQUENCE. THEY ARE PLACED OVER A CUSTOM HAND PAINTED BACKGROUND THAT IS DONE IN BERT'S CHALK PASTEL BACKGROUNDS STYLE BY DISNEY ARTIST TOM SHEA FOR PRESENTATION PURPOSES.

THE ART IS IN A WOODEN FRAME OF 21" X 17" WITH A DOUBLE MATTED OPENING OF 11" X 9". THERE IS AN ENGRAVED BRASS PLAQUE ATTACHED TO THE OUTER MAT THAT READS "MARY POPPINS 1964". THE ARTWORK IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THIS IS INDEED A RARE, AND ONE OF THE MOST WONDERFUL PEARLY BAND CELS YOU WILL EVER FIND!
