Disney "Fox" and "Hound" from Fox and the Hound Original Hand Painted Production Cel 1980 (Movie released in 1981). THIS IS A TWO CELL SET - ORIGINAL AND RARE TO FIND TOGETHER! Note: Sorry about the light reflection off this "glass"! Great and large example of the "Fox" and "Hound" used in the movie!

The availability (rarity), popularity, quality, size and image of the character contribute to the market price. Examples from this movie are around but not in any large quantities. This is a very unique and good example of the "Fox" and "Hound". Fun to "own" an actual hand painted cel used in the movie! Special note, if you look at the "break" in the cel of the Hound's tail, we found out in the movie, part of the tail was hidden by other scenery. All art is packed very well, in proper containers, to make the journey safely to your home. All packages are also fully insured. This piece was produced by Disney.

The frame and matting are in good condition with a few marks on the lacquer frame. This cel was actually used in the movie per the Disney description on the back of the frame. Year: Created 1980 movie released in 1981. Size of Edition: Original Hand painted cel. Frame Size: 22 x 18 approximate.

Unfortunately, Circle filed for bankruptcy in the mid 1990's and closed in 1996 due the significant down turn in the economy that started in 1990 which affected the art world tremendously.
